How to install Allma for your company
Add Allma to your Slack workspace
To install Allma, navigate to allma.io and click "Add to Slack" button or click here for direct install. You may be prompted to sign in to your Slack account, or if you're already signed into multiple Slack workspaces, you will be prompted to choose a workspace.
Admin access: depending on your company's admin settings, you may need to be a Slack admin be able to install Slack app. If this is the case, you will need to have an admin level team member install Allma to your Slack workspace or be granted admin level permissions.
Setting up Allma
Set up is 2 minutes. Allma walks you through set up any preferred configuration for severity levels, role management, incident communications, and integrations. You can also inform team members with our default messages via our install flow.
Once you have installed Allma, you will have access to Allma web app to access your settings at any point. You can always view or change any settings later by logging into our Webapp or in Allma app home.
Introduce Allma to your team
Your team collaborates on incidents with Allma through joining one of our active incident channels or through receiving incident notifications in one of your existing team channels. So now you just need to ensure you've configured any Incident communications and be ready to invite any users to a new incident. You can inform your team about Allma during onboarding or at any time via Slack or email. Feel free to use our template messages.
You're now set to use Allma to mitigate and resolve incidents with your team. 🎉
